From free play and physical activity to healthy snacks and homework help, we provide a safe and supportive environment where kids can learn, grow, and have fun with their peers. We also provide a variety of hands-on activities so kids can deepen their understanding of the art, science, math, and physical education.
All Y Club staff are trained, qualified and have cleared a background check. The Pittsburg Family YMCA is committed to making our After School Program accessible to all families. If you are requesting financial assistance, you must first apply for Kansas Department for Children and Families (DCF) Child Care Assistance through the DCF Child Care Subsidy Program. You can complete that here.
DCF eligibility must be determined before the YMCA can consider your request for additional financial assistance. After you have received your approval or denial from DCF, you may complete and submit the YMCA Financial Assistance Application available here.
