Membership Types and Monthly Rates

Youth ($19/month; $30 joining fee*)

2 Adults** + No Dependents ($45/month; $50 joining fee*)

2 adults** (ages 25-59) without any dependents

Family ($52/month; $50 joining fee*)

2 adults** plus all dependents at the same address.

Household ($75 month; $50 joining fee*)

3 adults** plus all dependents at the same address.

*Joining fee is a one-time only payment.

**Adults must have IDs that show they live at the same address for these membership types.

Financial Assistance

Pittsburg Family YMCA is committed to turning no one away due to their inability to pay. Thanks to the generosity of our community, the Y is able to offer financial assistance to those who qualify.

To apply for financial assistance, complete and return the Financial Assistance Application along with your most recent 1040 and any other supporting documentation noted on the application. The application can be downloaded by clicking the button below, or you can pick up a copy from the Welcome Center. Once the application and documentation have been received, the application will be reviewed and (if eligible) assistance will be awarded according to your individual situation.

Financial Assistance is reviewed on a case-by-case basis and is valid for one year from the date approved. It is up to the individual to reapply each year. A reminder of any assistance soon to expire will be sent to the email address provided on the application.

Special offer: Local first responders

All First Responders (KSHP Troopers, City of Pittsburg Police Officers, and Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Montgomery County EMS & Firefighters) are able to get a FREE 2-week pass and we will waive the joining fee if you join during the 2-week pass. Bring proof of employment to the Y and begin your trial today!

United Healthcare Kids Membership

All United Healthcare Community Plan members up to 17 years old can join the YMCA and partake in programming. Bring your member ID card to the Y and get signed up today!

Frequently Asked Questions

Coming soon! We are proud to offer free childcare services for children ages 6 weeks old to 8 years old. This service is free to any child that is on an active membership with the YMCA. There is a two-hour limit per day.

We offer monthly electronic payments as well as cash/check payments for a fixed term:

Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT): Get the convenience of automatic withdrawal and the option of making payment on the 5th or 20th each month. There are no contracts, but a 30-day cancellation notice is required.
Fixed term membership: Pay up front in either 3-month, 6-month or 12-month increments. Fixed term memberships are non-refundable.

No – you can choose to pre-pay your membership for a fixed 3-month, 6-month or 12-month increment, or you can pay electronically on a monthly basis. Either way, no contract is required.

If your insurance covers your YMCA membership, the process typically involves confirming your eligibility through your insurance provider. Some plans, like Medicare Advantage or certain employer-sponsored programs, offer fitness benefits that include YMCA memberships. To get started:

  1. Contact your insurance provider to verify coverage.
  2. Obtain any necessary documentation or membership ID.
  3. Present this information at the YMCA during registration.
  4. The YMCA will coordinate with your insurance for payment, ensuring you enjoy your membership benefits.
